If you are interested in requesting "release time" for one or more period(s) in your student's 2021-2022 schedule, please contact your student's counselor after August 1, 2021 to discuss options and to obtain information for beginning this process.
Per Canyons School District:
The online Education Release program is designed to facilitate a parent's desire to allow their student to participate in an activity during Release-Time activity from public school in accordance with USBE R277-610. Reading Classes
If your student tested at the Basic or Below Basic level on the Winter Reading Inventory test (since Spring RI tests couldn't be taken this year), he or she was automatically placed in the Reading class and an elective was dropped from their schedule. In such cases, a letter was mailed home. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Roger Moody (Assistant Principal): [email protected].
